How to Detect First Pregnancy Symptoms

12:00 PM
It may be confusing and difficult to detect first pregnancy symptoms because most of them are identical to what we normally feel when we're about to have a period so the only way to confirm it is by taking a pregnancy test. For second timers though, they can pretty much read tell tale signs of pregnancy. What are the most common symptoms of early pregnancy?

1.) Missed Period- although this is the most obvious indication of pregnancy, a lot of women do not rely on this alone. Missed period is sometimes caused by some physical and emotional factors. You may experience some spotting or a little bleeding around the time of your expected monthly cycle. This occurs because of implantation, this is simply the process of a fertilized egg attaching to the uterine wall.

2.) Breast Swelling or Tenderness- this is also one of the most common first pregnancy symptoms. This can be attributed to the multiplication of the milk glands. You may experience soreness in your breast as early as two weeks after conception.

3.) Fatigue- you always feel exhausted even if you have the same old routine before you got pregnant. Don't worry because this is not very uncommon. The reason why you feel tired is because your body works extra harder for your baby. Some experts agree that this can also be due to the rise of the hormone progesterone in your body.

4.) Headaches- some women suffer from headaches early on in their pregnancy. This can be related to the fact that the hormones are wild when you're pregnant.

5.) Morning Sickness- is there a better way to describe pregnancy's main discomfort other than vomiting and nausea? 50 to 90 percent of pregnant women experience morning sickness as one of their first pregnancy symptoms. You feel queasy and certain smells might annoy you and make you sick in the stomach.
